Grown in the Valle del Belice in Sicily near the town of Castelvetrano. The Gioconda has a taste very similar to the Nocellara. These are a good deal larger than this year’s Nocellara.
Cured in a simple brine, they are organically produced, and have a natural green color with a firm, meaty texture.
